Team Adem donates thermometers to help Cancer Patients

Last week Lu, on behalf of Team Adem donated another 50 digital thermometers to the Adem Crosby Centre. The thermometers are given to patients undergoing cancer treatment who don’t have a thermometer at home. Chemotherapy can have a major impact on a patient’s immune system and a temperature rise can indicate a sign of infection, which can be life threatening within hours so monitoring your temperature regularly while undergoing treatment is imperative.
