Donation of iPads to benefit cancer patients and their families

Last week Lu on behalf of Team Adem visited the Oncology Ward 5D at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and presented two iPads to Clinical Nurse Consultant Alana. The iPads will be loaded with treatment information and other helpful resources that patients and families can access during their treatment. Initially all patients receive comprehensive face to face education before treatment begins, but the iPads will now allow the patients to revisit the information at their own pace and share with their families
