Get Well Soon Jeni

Last week we were shocked and saddened to find out that one of our dear friends and Team Adem committee member -Jeni, was diagnosed with Blood Cancer.

Jeni has worked tirelessly alongside us for many years to help Team Adem help others. Currently, Jeni is being treated at RBWH – Ward 5C, the same ward Adem was treated on. Jeni is progressing well with her treatment and is surrounded by her family and an incredible team of caring and dedicated doctors, nurses and other staff members.

Jeni and her daughter Kirby are both Team Adem blood donors. Now, Jeni herself is requiring blood products. Over the past week, she has had multiple blood transfusions and will continue to receive them throughout her treatment. Jeni would like to thank all the donors who continue to roll up their sleeves for those Australians who require blood products.
