Another Donation to Help Patients Undergoing Radiation Therapy

Last week Lu on behalf of Team Adem dropped into the Radiation Unit in the Adem Crosby Centre and proudly donated another box of skincare cream applicators. The back and body applicators are given to radiotherapy patients who live alone and have no one to help them apply the moisturising cream to parts of their body that are difficult to reach on their own. Unfortunately some radiation treatment can cause quite harsh side-effects and burns to the skin and it is essential to apply soothing lotions to the affected area several times a day. Team Adem sourced these unique applicators locally from Sunshine Coast supplier Raphael McGowan who is the founder of bakslap cream applicators.
