The 2016 Team Adem ‘World’s Greatest Shave’ Event is going to Team Adem’s 6th and final WGS event. We are hoping as many people as possible will join us to celebrate this occasion. Team Adem will however, continue to support The Chancellor State College annual WGS event in the future. Team Adem will now be primarily focussing on our ever-growing Blood Donation Community which has potentially saved over 27000 lives since 2013.
Team Adem’s final ‘World’s Greatest Shave’ Event is going to be held at a new venue and on a different day. The event will be on Saturday 12th March at the
Maroochydore Homemaker Centre
The Shave will take place from 9:00 – 12:00pm on centre stage. This will enable those who work during the week to attend and it will also make it easier for children to attend and be involved with Team Adem’s Shave Event. We will be cutting, colouring & shaving from 9am through to noon and there will be a live broadcast from Todd & Sami from 92.7 MIX FM. The morning is going to be a lot of fun so bring along as many friends as possible to support this great event.
The Maroochydore Homemaker centre is fully air-conditioned and has great undercover parking. We will continue to update you about the days activities as we draw closer.
During the past 5 years Team Adem and its supporters have raised just on $500 000 for the Leukaemia Foundation, helping many patients and families affected by a blood cancer diagnosis. Funds raised have also been used to fund vital research projects for better treatment options and hopefully one day a cure.
In 2016 we have are hoping to raise an attainable $25 000 + for this wonderful organisation who helps so many.….But we need your help!!
We send out an open invitation to all individuals, Schools or any Business/Company willing to support Team Adem. We are encouraging as many people as possible to join our WGS Team for the final time and either Shave, Colour or Cut 30 cm off your hair. (All pony tails will be donated to “Variety – The children charity ” to be made into wigs for Australian children who have lost their hair due to illness or a medical conditionYou can also donate to Team Adem’s shave team directly or sponsor one of our Team Members. We sincerely hope you can get right behind the Team as you did last year. Help us help others and support Team Adem.
