Sami is a Sunshine Coaster to her salty core. She wouldn’t dream of leaving the sea and the sand and has spent the past 25 years keeping locals in the know – either reporting the news on TV, entertaining the masses on her ratings-winning Mix FM Drive Time radio show with co-host Todd Widdicombe, or shelling out candid take-it or leave-it advice in her My Weekly Preview column.

The best part of working in the media is always the people Sami is privileged to meet. This is how she came to know Lu and Brent and learn about their Team Adem crusade to encourage blood donation. Sami is honoured to be the charity’s Ambassador and says, “I truly believe the organisation makes a massive difference to so many people’s lives. I love how the team inspires all of us to literally roll up our sleeves and donate blood if we can.

“Lu and Brent are such an inspiration for me and I greatly admire the way they have turned the unimaginable into a positive for so many people battling an illness,” she says.

Sami has three cute kids, two cute dogs, and one cute husband. She’s blissfully aware that she leads a blessed existence and giving back to those who share her beloved sun-kissed backyard is a pleasure.here to add your own text
